Langtang Valley Trekking

Langtang Valley

This region includes range of cultures with the main three ethnic peoples living in are the Tamangs, Yolmus and Bhotias who have originated from Tibet in the past 500 years till the mid 20th century. In a southern section of the park lies a small area of sub-tropical chestnut forest, along with unique Sal forest. The hill forest (2000-2,600m) across the southern slopes of the park consists of Chir Pine, Rhododendron, Nepalese Alder and Oak. Moving north and higher, the Mountain zone (2,600-3000m) are mainly Mountain Oak, fading to Silver Fir, Hemlock and Larch in the lower sub-alpine zone (3000-3,6000m); throughout these zones, several species of Rhododendron trees form a twisted and colourful under story, continuing higher to tree line Birch and Fir forest are the last to survive. It is here at 3,600-4000m that Juniper and Rhododendrons shrubs slowly dissolve into the expansive alpine grassland meadows. Here the elusive snow leopard is still thought to comb the alpine heights for prey. The park is also well known for its populations of red panda, Himalayan black bear, wild dog, Himalayan thar, ghoral (mountain antelope) and more than 250 species of birds.

Langtang Valley
Langtang at present is the third popular trekking area in Nepal after Annapurna and Everest region. This fabulous trek situated north of Kathmandu 60 k.m. as the crow fly, a perfect combination of moderate and vigorous walk leading to the high alpine valley with the backdrop of high snow capped peaks, in the spring this place is alive with wild flowers.

Island peak climbing

Island Peak climbing

Island peak at a height of 6,189 meters, it is known by the name of Imja Tse Too. Island peak lies on Everest region and it is one of the easiest peak to climb for Everest base camp trekkers. Most of the people climb Island peak after the Gokyo and Everest base camp trek. While trekking in base camp area people can acclimatize their body in high elevation and will be easy to climb over 6,000m. To climb island peak need basic knowledge about climbing stuff for e.g. how to use rope how to use other climbing gears etc. If you don't have any idea our guide will tell you about the thing how to do what to do all, so you don't have to be worried, you are worried about these things because you want to success then you for our long term business.
We suggest to every clients to do Everest base camp trekking first and back to climbing the island peak. We provide you on rent mountain climbing, trekking, hiking, and walking gear, equipment, clothing, boots, shoes for sale, purchase and hire at affordable, cheap, low prices. Our Sherpa guides are professional experts in trekking and climbing in Nepal. im offer  Everest base camp treks and peak climbs in Nepal continuously.
Island Peak  climbing is the most popular climbing peak in Nepal. Island Peak is seen as an island in a sea of ice. The summit is interesting and attractive with a highly glaciated west face rising from the Lhotse Glacier. The mountain itself is the extension of the South Ridge of Lhotse Shar separated by a small col. The ridge rising to the south from this point leads to the summit of Island Peak. The extension of this ridge descending south-west is the part of the normal route of ascent and leads to the South Summit. Island peak is not only provides an enjoyable climb but also provides some of the most spectacular scenery of Himalayas. Some are named here, Nuptse (7,879m), Lhotse (8,501m), Lhotse Middle Peak (8,410m) and Lhotse Shar (8,383m) make a semi circle in the north. The views of Makalu (8475m) in the east, Baruntse and Amadablam in the south add more charm for climbing Island Peak.
We use same route for Island peak and Everest base camp trek. After the Pangboche valley right trial go to the Imja tse valley and left trial go to Khumbu valley. After the base camp we head in to the imja valley place called dingboche and next place called Chukhung. After the chukung there is no tea house towards island peak. So we need to do camping, normally we stay in tented camp 2 nights and back to chunkung after reach the summit of island peak. Then all the way down to Kathmandu and rest, drink, good food, good shower, fly back to home.
